MARBLE SHRIMP (Saron marmoratus sp2.) The Common Marble Shrimp (Saron marmoratus) has a light body with darker, ornate patterns over their entire body. The pattern can resemble polished marble (hence the common name) or even a tightly-packed floral pattern. Color is highly variable. Saron Shrimp are very cryptic. Although the group as a whole is very similar, each species has a mottled or spotted coloration to blend in with rockwork. They have bent, fat bodies wi,LL;[th long front claws (especially on adult males).
