Hairy frogfish (Antennarius striatus) Video footage was taken place at Anilao Mainit point secret bay using Canon powershot G10 series. The Striated Frogfish, Antennarius striatus, is a frogfish of the family Antennariidae, found in all subtropical oceans, to depths of between 10 and 210 m. Its length is up to 25 cm. Antennariidae, are a type of anglerfish in the order Lophiiformes. They are known as anglerfishes in Australia, where 'frogfish' refers to a different type of fish. Frogfishes are found in almost all tropical and subtropical oceans and seas around the world, the primary exception being the Mediterranean Sea. |
